Dr. Hai earned his medical degree with distinction in Anatomy and Surgery from the Prince of Wales Medical College.  After obtaining his Master of Surgery degree from Patna University,

Dr. Hai did is surgery residency at Boston University and his urology residency from Wayne State University.  He is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons and a leading expert in the field of BPH.  He is one of the leading experts on the use of Greenlight laser in treatment of BPH, and helped develop this technology for clinical use.

He has published and presented on this topic extensively around the world.  Dr. Hai has been a member of the Oakwood Healthcare System in Southeast Michigan since he completed his residency in 1978.
