Dr Kass received his medical degree from the State University Health Science Center in New York, completed his surgical/urology residency at the University of Michigan and then went on to complete additional fellowship training in pediatric urology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He has published over 200 scientific articles and book chapters in the field of pediatric urology and has lectured at numerous academic centers and educational conferences in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.

Dr Kass has served on the executive board of the Section on Urology of the American Academy for nine years and had the honor of being named as its Chairman. He has been regularly named as one of Detroit Hour  magazine’s “Top Docs”, and he is listed  in Who’s Who of the best doctors in America.

Dr Kass’ research interests include adolescent varicocele, hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, hypospadias and undescended testis. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, travel, and spending time with his wife, Dawn, his four children, five grandchildren and good friends.
