
Dr. McDevitt has been offering high-quality compassionate urological care for over 20 years. His basic approach is conservative, always considering non-surgical treatment options whenever possible. His patients appreciate his sensitivity to their fears and welcome his practice of including both the referring doctor and the patient in making decisions about treatment. He is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residencies at Detroit Osteopathic/Bi-County Community Hospitals. He practices general urology with an interest in prostate disease. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. In addition, Dr. McDevitt serves as the Chief of Urology and the President and Chairman of the Medical Executive Committee at Botsford General Hospital. As Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he is involved in training future urologists. He is an active alumnus of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy and enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
