Robotic Surgery

Robotic surgery

The Urologists of Comprehensive Medical Center have developed the COMPREHENSIVE ROBOTIC SURGERY CENTER OF MICHIGAN.  Our Urologists were among the first in the state to offer Robotic Surgery to the community.  We now have fourteen Urologists who are trained to treat most major Urologic conditions with Robotic or Laparoscopic surgery.  Our surgeons have taught the techniques of Robotic surgery to many other physicians.  Our physicians are often invited to teach Urologists in other communities the technique of Robotic Surgery.
Robotic surgery offers the patient a more accurate, and complete surgery.  The healing from Robotic Surgery is better tolerated than with traditional surgery.  Complications are much less with Robotic Surgery.  Our Urologic surgeons are rarely required to make large surgical incisions to treat cancer and other major urologic conditions.  Patients should consult with a Robotic surgeon before they decide to have a major Urologic surgery.
The Urologists at Comprehensive Medical Center are proud to be the Leading Large Urology Group in Michigan, Committed to the Excellence in Patient Care, Education and Research.
