About Us

Beaumont Comprehensive Urology (BCU) is a urology practice formed in August 2007 by merging sixteen private practice urologists from five Beaumont-based urology groups. Our physicians have over 250 cumulative years of dedicated service to the Beaumont hospitals and specialize in every aspect of urologic care. We now form the foundation of the Department of Urology’s vision to create a urology center of excellence that will work to enhance patient care, resident education, and research at both Royal Oak and Troy Beaumont hospitals as we move toward the new medical school. The majority of the urologists in this core Beaumont based group have spent additional time completing fellowship training in the major sub-specialty areas of urology such as oncology, female urology, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, infertility, stone disease, laparoscopic and robotic surgery and pediatric urology.

The main office for Beaumont Comprehensive Urology is a recently constructed 25,000 square foot building on Woodward Avenue just a few steps north of 13 Mile Road. This modern facility was specifically designed to provide comprehensive urologic care, with easy patient access, same day service, laboratory facilities, as well as x-ray and CT imaging accessible on Beaumont’s computer system. It is also the home to Beaumont’s new outpatient Urology Procedure Center, thereby making it a truly comprehensive and state-of-the-art urology center. Our dedication to Beaumont extends beyond the Royal Oak campus and we are just getting started. We currently have three satellite offices to serve Beaumont Troy and West Bloomfield with more offices in the planning stages. Our dedicated Beaumont urologists are available everyday at both Beaumont hospitals to help provide the best quality care for patients.

Our goals are to continue to provide the most up to date and specialized urologic care that you could expect, enhance our ability to see same day referrals for urgent cases as well as to provide services for basic urology care and screening. We will strive to become the referral center of choice for complicated urologic cases and tertiary care in southeast Michigan.
