Alexa Powell, MSN, FNP-C is an associate of Comprehensive Urology. Alexa serves as Comprehensive
Urology’s hospital based Nurse Practitioner at Troy Beaumont Hospital.
Alexa was born and raised in Michigan, growing up in the Rochester Hills area. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Rochester College in 2014 while playing NAIA basketball
and soccer for the Warriors. She then received her Master’s of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO in 2018. From 2014 to 2019 Alexa worked as a registered nurse at Royal Oak Beaumont, specializing in gastroenterology, colon-rectal surgery, and urology.
When not working, Alexa enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys traveling and
outdoor activities.
Alexa works closely with our attending urologists at William Beaumont Troy Hospital on all in-patient care
issues.
