Our Urological Services

Urology services

The Oakland County Urologists division of Comprehensive Medical Center has a full spectrum of office-based services that offers convenience and personalized service for all patients.

Initial and routine office visits, consultations and second opinions are the corner stones of each of our three locations.  Important and complex discussions regarding care plans and surgery occur in a comfortable, quiet and non-clinical consultation room.

Comprehensive Urological Diagnostics

Microwave Therapy for Enlarge Prostate:  Microwave Therapy is one of various procedures used for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) in men.

Prostatic imaging with ultrasound and when necessary biopsy:  These procedures are always performed with local anesthesia to afford comfort to the patient and added quality to the exam.

Cystoscopy:  This is a diagnostic procedure that allows our doctor to examine the inside of a patient’s bladder and urethra. The whole exam is done using a viewing instrument called a cystoscope - a thin, smooth tube equipped with a bright light and lenses.

Urodynamic Testing:  Computer enhanced testing for voiding disorders
and incontinence.

Chemotherapy for Bladder Cancer:  Chemotherapy is administered through bladder instillations performed as an outpatient.

Vasectomy and minor surgical procedures:  Vasectomy and other minor surgeries can be done under local anesthesia.
