Peyronies Disease (Penile Curvature)

Peyronie’s disease is a syndrome of symptoms most often including penile curvature with erection. Other symptoms may include painful or decreased firmness of erections (ED). A benign hard plaque forms on the erectile tissue in the penis interfering with the normal stretching of the penis with erection.

Sometimes these changes reverse themselves without treatment. Oral medicines, intralesional injections of medication, or vacuum erection devices are less invasive therapies. Finally, Comprehensive Urology physicians offer reconstructive surgery to successfully treat this disabling problem.
