Female Incontinence & Voiding Difficulty

Female urinary difficulties may involve a number of different conditions which may occur either alone or in combination:

  • Overactive bladder – urinary frequency and urgency
  • Incontinence – involuntary loss of urine
  • Pelvic organ prolapse – "dropped" bladder, uterus, or vagina

Comprehensive Medical Centers have fellowship-trained urologists who specialize in managing these disorders as well as other complex, but less common female conditions such as urethral diverticulum, vesicovaginal fistulae, interstitial cystitis and pelvic pain. We also have extensive experience in evaluating patients who have had a complication or unsatisfactory outcome from previous treatment and who are seeking a second opinion.
