Laparoscopic Robotic Surgery

Comprehensive Medical Center has surgeons fellowship-trained in laparoscopic surgery, which is minimally-invasive surgery performed through key-hole sized incisions on the abdomen as opposed to traditional large open incisions. This type of surgery is proven to result in less pain, less bleeding and a quicker return to normal activities. Many laparoscopic procedures also utilize the Da Vinci robot to improve outcomes. This is the state-of-the-art robot that allows the surgeon added precision. Our surgeons have performed hundreds of laparoscopic and/or robotic surgeries for many different conditions including:

  • Prostate Cancer

  • Bladder Cancer

  • Kidney Cancer

  • Ureteral Obstruction (i.e. pyeloplasty)

  • Pelvic Floor Prolapse (i.e. sacrocolopoplasty)

  • Pediatric Laparoscopy
