He is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Michigan Urologic Society. He specializes in general urology with a heavy focus on minimally invasive treatments of kidney stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).<br \/>Since he started practicing in southeast Michigan in 2007, Dr. Kotha and his practice partners have been at the forefront of utilizing the Greenlight Laser as a minimally invasive outpatient surgical treatment for BPH (enlarged prostate). In addition, he has recently incorporated Rezum therapy as another minimally invasive treatment modality for BPH. Rez\u016bm Therapy is an in-office treatment for men looking to treat BPH, not just the symptoms.
