Dr. Begun is a native Metro Detroiter who has lived in the area his entire life. He received his bachelors in neuroscience from the University of Michigan. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then continued his medical training at the Detroit Medical Center, where he completed urology residency.

Dr. Begun is affiliated with McLaren Macomb, Ascension Macomb and Oakland, and Beaumont Grosse Pointe hospitals. He is a member of the American Urologic Association and is board eligible.

Dr. Begun practices general urology. He focuses on male and female voiding dysfunction, sexual health, and kidney stones. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgery, utilizing the DaVinci robot to provide enhanced patient outcomes through a variety of procedures.

When not at work, Dr. Begun enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, playing golf, cooking, and rooting for his beloved Michigan Wolverines.
