Jason P. Gilleran, M.D. is currently Associate Professor of Urology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1998 and completed his Urology residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2004. He then went on to spend a year with Dr. Philippe Zimmern and Dr. Gary Lemack as the Female Urology Fellow at UT Southwestern, completing the fellowship in 2005. Prior to returning to his native metro Detroit in 2010, he served as Head of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstruction in the Department of Urology at The Ohio State University in Columbus. His clinical and research interests focus on neuromodulation, interstitial cystitis / chronic pelvic pain, complex urinary incontinence, as well as daVinci® robotic surgery for pelvic floor reconstruction. He has authored or co-authored 20 peer reviewed journal articles, numerous textbook chapters, and review articles. In 2018, he was co-editor on the textbook “Adult and Pediatric Neuromodulation”. He is active in teaching as part of the accredited Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital.
