Since he started practicing in southeast Michigan in 2007, Dr. Kotha and his practice partners have been at the forefront of utilizing the Greenlight Laser as a minimally invasive outpatient surgical treatment for BPH (enlarged prostate). In addition, he has recently incorporated Rezum therapy as another minimally invasive treatment modality for BPH. Rezum uses natural water vapor to reduce the size of the prostate and provide lasting symptom relief from BPH symptoms without invasive surgery or the potential side effects of prescription drugs.
In addition to operating at the above named hospitals, Dr. Kotha performs complex outpatient kidney stone surgeries as well the Greenlight laser procedure at the Surgical Institute of Michigan in Westland, Michigan.
When not providing urologic care, Dr. Kotha spends time with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys reading, running, traveling, and playing golf.
